Current Village Council Members: -Reserved- Closed Closed Closed Closed Village Count: Were Count:	Welcome to Edge of the Wild, a roleplaying site that circles around a village called Veldarces and the forest that it is in constant war with. There is a town near a great forest. The spot is beautiful. Luscious green trees dominate the forest, and rivers flow freely in and out of them. Looking down at the village and forest, there would seem to be a great peace settling over the whole. But alas, that is not so. A constant war rages between the people and the wild beasts which roam the forest. There is talk among the villagers that there are new, strange, different animals in the forest... animals that think and talk like a man, animals that wish to attack and destroy the little village. And so, in a great struggle between man and nature, a choice is formed. Will the humans gain control of the forest, or will the animals destroy the village? The choice is yours. Join as a were-animal in the forest, or as a village member. Fight against each other or make forbidden pacts. Make friends and enemies in this fantasy roleplay. 	Houses This is where everybody lives - you can invite people here to discuss in roleplay, and this is also where a lot of people gather together to just plain chat. Moderator: Forest	0	0
	Announcement Square This is where the village leader can announce different news for the village, such as animal attacks or triumphs. Other people can also use this square if they have news, but they're not supposed to. Moderator: Forest	0	0
	The Hideout This is a cave carved into the ground with a barrier in front of it that the village people can use in case the forest animals manage to get to their village. Moderator: Forest	0	0

	The Burrows This is where most of the forest inhabitants live. The burrows are well hidden in, under, and sometimes above the trees, so that only the forest inhabitants can actually find them unless some human were to accidentally stumble inside one of them. Moderator: Forest	0	0
	The Forest Edge This is where most of the hunters from the village go to collect food, so many of the forest denizens prefer to avoid this place. Moderator: Forest	0	0
	The Hunting Grounds This is where the forest predators hunt. There is a lot of risk here for village citizens, as they might become the prey instead of the predator. It is a handy meeting place for forest creatures for this reason. Moderator: Forest	0	0
	The Clearing This is a clearing near the middle of the forest. No one knows how it got there, but it's there. It a restful place for any poor citizen who might get caught in the forest, as many of the darker wood creatures prefer to also avoid this place. Moderator: Forest	0	0
